TTRA convention set for Virginia

The 43rd Annual Travel and Tourism Research Association (TTRA) International Conference will be held June 17-19, 2012 at the Virginia Beach Resort in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The TTRA is the only tourism organization to bring together destination research manager, tourism research companies and tourism academics to advance the quality and practice of tourism research.

This conference is organized around five universes, each including a general session with breakout industry and academic research sessions.  The five universes are:  1) Destination Performance Measurement; 2) New Technologies and Tourism Behavior; 3) Tourism Futures and Forecasting; 4) Destination Marketing Strategy; and 5) Destination Management Strategy. 

The meeting offers other educational and networking opportunities. 

Along with the Annual International Conference, TTRA Chapters host annual regional conferences for Chapter members and non-members as well. 

New for 2012 are four annual webinars available to members and non-members.
