Two Brits found dead in hotel pool
Two British tourists have died after they were found deceased in a Portugal hotel pool.
The two men, aged 27 and 29, were found by a friend in the Duas Palmeiras hotel pool in Albufeira.
It happened in the early hours after a night out in Albufeira.
Local media said they earlier appeared to be intoxicated and didn’t know how to swim.
Emergency services were called but both were declared dead at the scene.
Portuguese police don’t suspect any foul play, suggesting they jumped in the pool willingly after the night out.
Two other British tourists have died in accidents in recent weeks in the Albufeira region, both in accidental falls.
One died after falling down steps while a man from Scotland was found at the bottom of a ravine after being reported missing several days earlier.
