Two more cruise lines join Expedition Cruise Network
The Expedition Cruise Network (ECN) has bagged two more companies as member cruise lines.
It added UnCruise Adventures and Metropolitan Touring to its growing membership of expedition cruise operators.
It brings the total of expedition cruise operators in the network to 18.
US based Uncruise Adventures offers small-ship adventures in Alaska, Mexico’s Sea of Cortez, the Pacific Northwest, Galapagos Islands and Central America.
Ecuadorian expedition cruise company Metropolitan Touring specialises in expedition cruises to the Galapagos Islands.
They have been operating for over 60 years.
To highlight global expedition cruise destinations, ECN chair Martin Johnson will host a webinar on 19 July, joined by a panel of experts from ECN’s cruise line members.
These include Aaron Russ, Commercial director and Expedition Leader at Heritage Expeditions, Trixi Lange-Hitzbleck, Expedition Leader at Hapag-Lloyd Cruises and Captain Dan Blanchard, CEO of UnCruise Adventures.
Webinar registration is open now.
Akvile Marozaite, CEO of ECN said: “Both these companies share ECN’s values on sustainability and environmental stewardship of the destinations the ships visit.”
