Cruise community website CruiseCritic.co.uk has claimed 1.5 million page views in January.
The site received 132,000 unique visitors during the month.
The figures emerged as part of the UK site’s first anniversary in January.
It is the first country-specific effort by US-based publisher The Independent Traveler, which also operates CruiseCritic.com.
Editor in Chief Carolyn Spencer Brown said: “We are delighted with the response to our UK site. The British cruise community is highly active and very passionate.
“Contrary to the reserved stereotype, they take pleasure in contributing to our reviews and getting involved in our forums.”
She added: “We confidently expect continued site growth during the coming year.
“Despite economic woes, the UK cruise market is in very healthy condition with more ships, ports and itineraries on offer than ever before.”
