UK sales office opens for Mississippi river boat American Queen
Former Viking Riverboat Cruises’ chief Graham Clubb will head up a UK office to market the American Queen which travels along the Mississippi River.
The sales and marketing office will work with Light Blue Travel as UK booking agents.

The vessel’s main ports of embark and disembarkation are New Orleans, Memphis, St Louis, St Paul, Pittsburgh and Chattanooga; with other iconic destinations visited including Baton Rouge, Cincinnati, Louisville, Winona and Savannah.
Graham Clubb said: "I am delighted to join the American Queen Steamboat Company as UK and European general sales agent.
"The American Queen is like no other river ship – she brings a unique perspective on America’s history, culture and landscapes through the heartland of America. She is the largest river boat in the world.
"The river cruise market is now an established sector of the cruise industry and with high revenues is a lucrative source of commission for travel agents. "
Light Blue Travel’s managing director Rupert Thomson said: "Light Blue Travel will be working with agents and tour operators offering attractive commission levels and bespoke training programmes."
