The UK’s favorite holiday destination? If you guessed the US, you were right, at least based on a poll by Bargainholidays.com. Their study found 17% of its customers chose the US as their top holiday spot with 11% saying they intended to visit in 2004. Spain came in second with 16% of the vote. Only 6% of those, however, promised a US visit this year. One area rising in popularity: Manchester.
