United Airlines boosting flights from San Francisco
United Airliens is beefing up its presence at San Francisco with more flights to eight destinations.
From August it will boost service to Seattle to 10 flights a day, to Portland to nine times daily, and Kansas City and Philadelphia each to three daily flights.
Additionally, United is going double daily to Albuquerque, Baltimore, Indianapolis and Nashville.
The airline is also adding capacity on 10 additional routes by switching regional jets for larger mainline aircraft.
These routes are Burbank, Calgary, Dallas, Fresno, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Palm Springs, Santa Barbara, Sacramento and Bozeman.
"These additional flights and larger aircraft to new cities and those already part of our network will offer customers even more convenient flight options and easy connections to popular destinations around the U.S. and Canada," said SFO vice president Mike Hanna.
"Every day in San Francisco we proudly welcome more than 30,000 customers aboard United Airlines and today’s announcement demonstrates our commitment to being the Bay Area’s leading U.S. airline.
