Venice announces daytripper entry fee

Venice city leaders announced further details about the proposed entry fee for visitors. The fee applies to day visitors who have pre-book their visit.

Effective January 16, 2023, visitors pay €3 – €10, which depends on the season and how busy it is on the day. Fee dodgers could be fined up to €300.

It includes cruise ship guests but not travellers with hotel stays in Venice as room rates are already taxed.
