Viking celebrates 15th year of river cruising with new ships
This is the 15th anniversary for Viking River Cruises and with the launch of a half dozen new ships in a single season, it "marks the most significant year in the company’s history," according to Viking.
Viking announced next year’s cruise program that offers cruisers termed a "broader selection of choices than any other cruise line — from ships and staterooms to destinations and pace of exploration."
There are four new itineraries and two new land tour extensions. Improvements also include another six Viking long ships and the complete refurbishment of its Russian fleet.

Viking says it offers the world’s largest fleet of river cruises. Flexible scheduling options allow guests to sight see at their own pace, though comprehensive guided tours are also included on a daily basis.
