The all-important voting stage for the 2007 British Travel Awards has gone live.

The shortlists are finalised in 55 categories following the nomination process in the first half of the year.

Everyone who completes a voting form will be entered into a draw to win one of more than 50 holiday and travel prizes.

These include a 12-day Baltic cruise for two with Voyages of Discovery; 40 pairs of tickets to a Jongleurs Comedy Club; Club Class travel to Calais, Bilbao, Rotterdam and Zeebrugge with P&O Ferries; a Caribbean holiday for two with Sandals Resorts; an Island Cruises’ seven-night Mediterranean cruise; luxury five-star holidays to Canada, Cuba, Turkey, Spain and Tenerife with Thomas Cook, Air Canada, Marriott, Paradisus Princesa Del Mar, Paloma Perissia, Iberostar and the Hotel Botanico.

Meanwhile, von Essen and Luxury Family Hotels is offering a two-night family break in the UK and there is a seven-night holiday for two staying at Le Touessrok in Mauritius with Thomas Cook and Air Mauritius.

To vote, go to www.britishtravelawards.com and click on the trade voting pages, or download the printable pdf to fax or post back.

FMS will be conducting agency visits this month to ask agents to vote and the Triton Group and Advantage will also be distributing BTA trade-voting forms to agents.

Click through buttons to vote and win prizes can also be found on the websites of BTA trade partners and sponsors.

It is also possible to vote in the consumer categories which are also on the BTA website.

Consumer votes are encouraged via media partners at Yahoo Travel, Sky Travel Shop, The Sunday Times, Consumer Data and CBS.

There is still time to put nominations forward in the Responsible Tourism and Innovation categories. All nominees for these awards will receive a criteria form for submission which will be considered by panels of judges in early October.

All voting closes on 19th September 19.
