Wendy Wu Tours establishes Cambodia scholarship fund
Tour specialist Wendy Wu Tours has marked 25 years in business with a celebratory VIP anniversary Mekong cruise.
VIP guests, with founder Wendy Wu, enjoyed 17-nights touring in Vietnam and Cambodia, including a special three-night cruise on the Victoria Mekong river ship.
Several special inclusions on the anniversary departure included mindfulness sessions and relaxation therapies, led by Wendy Wu herself.
It also included dinner with local Vietnamese family in Saigon and a special, extended seaplane flight over Halong Bay.
During the Mekong cruise and tour, Wendy Wu announced a new ‘Wendy Wu Tours Cambodia Scholarship Fund.’
It will fund a scholarship program for 25 underprivileged children in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
“Education is very close to my heart, a factor that has always and will always continue to guide and steer me in my lifelong journey,” said Wendy Wu.
“Our commitment to the children in Siem Reap is a lifelong commitment and we hope we’ll be able to develop the program and help more children through education,” she added.
