Wizz air to improve network connectivity powered by Dohop
Wizz Air is launching WIZZ Link, a new multi-segment booking platform developed in partnership with travel technology company Dohop.
The platform introduces nearly 8,000 new origin-and-destination combinations, allowing passengers to self-connect across Wizz Air’s network and book multi-leg journeys in a single transaction. This includes connections through key European hubs such as London, Budapest, Rome, Warsaw, and Tirana among others.
Rather than searching and booking each flight segment separately, travelers can now plan their entire journey on a single platform, including seats, baggage, priority services, and onboard add-ons. WIZZ Link is powered by Dohop’s RetailConnect technology, enabling flexible, interline-style connectivity without the complexity of legacy systems.
The launch comes as multi-leg travel continues to grow across Europe, and airlines look to retain more direct digital traffic at a time when online travel agencies account for more than a third of flight bookings. By integrating self-connections into its ecosystem, WIZZ Link enables Wizz Air to capture more multi-segment demand while maintaining control over pricing, distribution, and the customer experience.
This helps the airline keep customers within the WIZZ ecosystem, increase average booking value and loyalty.
From an airport perspective, the platform also supports more structured and predictable self-connecting journeys, increasing the number of passengers choosing to transfer through key Wizz Air stations.
