Worldchoice grasps social media with downloadable training videos

Thursday, 29 Jan, 2007 0

Independent agency consortium Worldchoice is taking the lead from social computing website youtube with the development of a range of downloadable online training videos.

The idea is for agents to have access to information on the latest technology innovations at the fingertips.

The first in the series is a clip about Worldchoice’s extranet information system Spider and how agents can make the most of it.

The five-minute videos, which can be accessed from the Worldchoice agent’s portal, have play, pause, fast forward and replay buttons so they can be revisited as often as necessary.

The consortium’s IT development coordinator Tom Whittle said: “This new technology is going to make training more accessible for even the busiest agent. The format is cutting edge and will appeal to the technology savvy, but is also simple to use, with step-by-step instructions.”
