A Hero’s Journey is produced and directed by Grace Phan and features East Timorese President, Xanana Gusmao taking us on a journey of his homeland, in a deeply moving portrait of a man focused on forgiveness and reconciliation as a way of healing his nation’s wounds.
The Alola Foundation was established in 2002 by First Lady, Kirsty Sword Gusmao to provide help in advocacy, education, employment and maternal and child health to the women of East Timor.
