Accor introducing SO brand to Australia
French hotel giant Accor announced plans to expand its luxury portfolio in Australia.
It 2023 it will mark the brand debut of SO/Hotels & Resorts in Melbourne.
Located in the CBD, SO/Melbourne will feature 288 guestrooms and suites, some with outdoor terraces.
It will have a wellness and fitness centre, a pool, club lounge, specialty dining, bar and sky deck.
The hotel is housed at level 11 to level 34 of a mixed-use development including office and co-working space.
"The demand for quality luxury hotels is at an all-time high, so the timing is right to introduce Australia to the SO/ Hotel brand," said Simon McGrath, Accor’s chief operating officer Pacific.
It will become the second SO/ Hotel in the region after SO/Auckland.
