Air China eyes Hawaii non-stop service
Air China will launch Beijing-Hawaii nonstop services on January 21, 2014.
The service will make Air China the first carrier operating nonstop links between Beijing and Hawaii.
Air China currently operates to five destinations in North America – New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston and Vancouver.
China’s market demand for travel to Hawaii has been growing rapidly.
Statistics show that in 2012 Chinese traveller numbers increased by 64%year-on-year. Most travelers came from Shanghai and Beijing, accounting for over 80% of the total.
In addition to the Beijing-Hawaii service, other new international services to be introduced by Air China include Beijing – Chiang Mai and Beijing – Siem Reap.
