Althams Travel acquires Lancashire agency
Lancashire based agency Garstang Travel has been acquired by Althams Travel.
Garstang Travel was established by founder Nicole Eaves more than four decades ago.
She will retire following a transition period.
It will continue to trade under the Garstang Travel name and the workforce of nine staff will be retained.
It takes the Althams Travel portfolio of stores to 34 in Lancashire, Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.
“I have had the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented and committed individuals you could ever hope for. After 42 incredible years, it’s the right time to sell,” Eaves said.
“Nicole has built something truly special over the past 42 years, and we are honoured to continue her legacy.” Althams said.
