Members of the Association of Women Travel Executives (AWTE) saw Phil Bocarro and Debbee Dale both receive accolades for their work in travel at the 2010 Chairman’s Awards.
Held aboard City Cruises’ Mayflower Garden on the Thames, the members heard about the important works of both Bacarro and Dale, women who have made very strong contributions to the travel industry.
Boccaro received the event’s Honorary Award having risen through the ranks of Air India over 33 years. She has become a longstanding member of AWTE, helping set up its Benevolent Fund. She was also involved in establishing the IFWTO, an organization for women to become more involved in policy-making within the travel industry.

Dale has worked hard to raise the profile of the organizations she has involvement with and her strong reputation in travel plus her willingness to support and help others earned her the
Business Innovation Award.
