BA doubles down on San Diego flights
British Airways is set to add a second daily San Diego flight from London Heathrow Airport.
The doubly daily service starts on April 20, 2024.
BA has been operating San Diego flights daily for over a decade.
The new San Diego service will be operated on a 214-seat Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner jet.
“This expansion opens up a world of possibilities,” said Kimberly Becker, San Diego County Regional Airport Authority President.
The airport says demand has increased on the route since the pandemic shutdown, with passenger traffic up 28% on 2019 levels.
