Bmi adds insurance sales to website.
Bmi is to sell travel insurance provided by AIG on its website.
Users of the airline’s site will be able to add a single trip or an annual multi trip insurance policy to their flight booking without needing to input any extra information, as flight and form of payment details are automatically be extracted from the original booking.
Amadeus has supplied the technology to allow up to three insurance options to be displayed on the purchase page of the site.
