Californians: Cruise Into San Francisco for the “Summer of Love”

To mark the 40th anniversary of the Summer of Love, the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau and 16 hotel partners are offering a special hotel promotion exclusively for California residents.  Residents may book online at www.onlyinsanfrancisco.com  for stays between June 1 through 30, 2007 to enjoy three nights for the price of two at a participating hotel.  A California billing address must be provided when booking reservations.

“This ‘Only in San Francisco’ offer celebrates the ‘Summer of Love,’ which started in June 1967 in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park as an expression of joy and peace,” said Joe D’Alessandro, president and CEO of the SFCVB.  “This is an exceptional value for Californians who want to visit San Francisco in June.  With 16 participating hotels, there are options to suit just about everyone’s budget, taste and location, with choices in Union Square, Nob Hill, Fisherman’s Wharf, Civic Center, the Financial District and SoMa.”
