Carnival back in Norfolk next year
Carnival Cruise Lines has outlined its 2015 cruise schedule for its return to the Port of Norfolk.
From May 2015, the 3,000-passenger Carnival Splendor will become the largest ‘fun ship’ to be based at the historic Virginia port.
Carnival’s Norfolk program features 2- to 7-day cruises, including a week-long voyage to Bermuda.
Carnival will resume sailings from Norfolk for the first time since the end of its 2013 program with the Carnival Glory.
During 2015, the Splendor will also sail seasonal 4- to 8-day cruises from New York to the Caribbean, Canada and Florida.
Then from November 2015 through April 2016, the ship will head to Miami offering week-long eastern and western Caribbean itineraries.
Reservations are open for all announced sailings on the Splendor.
