China made aircraft delivered to first international airline
Commercial Aviation Corp of China has delivered the first China made aircraft to an international airline customer.
The ARJ21 jet was delivered to Indonesia’s TransNusa Airlines.
The COMAC ARJ21 is the first homegrown aircraft.
The regional jet has a range of 2,225 km to 3,700 km.
The 95-seat China made aircraft is flown by many Chinese airlines.
COMAC says about five million passengers have flown on the ARJ21.
Nearly 100 ARJ21 jets have been delivered to customers in China.
