Cinnamon Hotels joins Global Hotel Alliance
Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts, a hospitality brand with properties across Sri Lanka and the Maldives, has joined UAE-headquartered Global Hotel Alliance (GHA).
The Sri Lankan-based group’s 17 hotels and resorts join GHA’s portfolio which spans more than 850 hotels in 100 countries.
Its loyalty programme, GHA DISCOVERY has 30 million members.
Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts has city hotels and resorts in idyllic locations across Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
The company has Signature Selection properties, including the recently opened Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams Sri Lanka.
Other highlights include the luxury Cinnamon Grand Colombo, an urban sanctuary in the heart of the capital; the Cinnamon Wild Yala, located on the edge of the Yala National Park, and the Cinnamon Habarana complex.
“Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts offers our 30 million GHA DISCOVERY members an even richer choice of properties in two idyllic destinations,” said GHA CEO Chris Hartley.
“Cinnamon’s hotels and resorts will also benefit from our platform’s business-generating power, particularly with cross-brand activity.”
To mark the occasion, GHA DISCOVERY members can earn Double DISCOVERY Dollars (D$) for every eligible booking in one of the 17 Cinnamon hotels & resorts.
