Club Med
has just unveiled plans for its first South Africa resort.

The all-inclusive resort operator announced the development of Club Med Tinley, which will offer a unique combination of beach and safari experiences.

Set to open in 2026, Club Med Tinley is situated in KwaZulu-Natal.

The 4-Trident (4-star) resort will feature a surf-lifestyle concept on the Dolphin Coast, along with the opportunity to stay on a Big-5 Game Reserve for a safari adventure in Northern Natal.

Located just 30 minutes from King Shaka International Airport, the property will have 342 rooms, 64 5-star, Exclusive Collection Suites, 80 rooms in the Game Lodge, and a convention centre.

Club Med Tinley will offer a range of family activities, land and water sports, a kid’s club, plus the very first Surf School at Club Med.

The South Africa resort will also offer a spa, fitness centre, yoga school and an adult-only Zen pool and bar.
