Cosmos to Offer Free Extensions on North America Holidays
Leading tour operator Cosmos will release free extensions on many of its most popular North American tours next month in response to increasing demand for holidays in the USA and Canada.
Cosmos sales to North America this year are 12 per cent above the same time in 2007, adding to the 49 per cent growth experienced during the past two years.
Cosmos Australasian Marketing Manager Christian Schweitzer said the company was working to further build its North America sales and would release free extensions for sale between March 1 and May 31, 2008.
“North American holidays are selling particularly well for us right now, so we are announcing free extensions as a way to maintain the momentum and underline the value of Cosmos tours,” Mr Schweitzer said. “The offer means travellers can stay an extra two days in cities like New York, Los Angeles or Vancouver at no extra cost.”
The extensions will be available on six of the most popular tours in the Cosmos USA and Canada 2008 brochure:
Western Canada & Rocky Mountaineer with extension in Vancouver, total 12 days, from $2269 per person twin share
Golden West Adventure with extension in Los Angeles, total 16 days, from $1629
The Old South and Florida with extension in Orlando, total 15 days, from $1739
New England Charm with extension in Boston, total 11 days, from $1379
Eastern US & Canada Grand Vacation with extension in New York, total 16 days, from $1919
Splendors of the Hawaiian Islands with extension in Maui, total 15 days, from $2489.
Prices are per person twin share including a free two-day extension. The free extension offer is available for travel until December 31, 2008, with booking and deposit required between March 1 and May 31, 2008.
The Cosmos USA and Canada program for 2008 offers more than 35 holiday options covering the length and breadth of both countries, with tour packages available from as little as $117 a day.
