Cruise leaders set to make waves
Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) president and CEO Christine Duffy will be among cruise industry professionals confirmed for the inaugural Cruise3sixty Australasia conference.
Duffy will make a keynote address at the conference, with more than 15 other industry leaders joining her on stage for a series of presentations and panel sessions throughout the day.
More than 370 delegates are expected to attend.
CLIA Australasia general manager Brett Jardine said a special President’s Panel would set the scene for the conference with Carnival Australia CEO Ann Sherry, Royal Caribbean managing director Gavin Smith, APT founder Geoff McGeary and Aqua Expeditions CEO Francesco Galli Zugaro sharing their thoughts on the industry’s direction.
Other confirmed speakers include Google Australia’s head of travel Nikolai Pitchforth, Ozcruising managing director Craig Chisolm, Travel the World GM sales and marketing Michelle Taylor, Silversea GM – director of sales and marketing Australasia Karen Christensen, Globus managing director Stewart Williams and Princess Cruises vice president Australia Stuart Allison.

The conference will be held at Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney the day prior to CLIA’s annual Cruise Industry Awards. It will be accompanied by an industry exhibition, which has already sold out.
