Crystal launches US ski flight
Crystal Ski is launching a Gatwick-Denver service later this year after banking on the United States growing in popularity among skiers. The twice weekly flights, which have already gone on sale, will operate from December 21 until April 29, 2006. Denver is approximately two hours from Vail and four hours from Aspen by coach. Flight time is approximately 10 hours 25 minutes and a premium cabin will offer priority boarding and five inches extra legroom. Crystal Ski managing director Stuart McLeod said: “These flights add much needed capacity for the resorts of Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail, Beaver Creek, Copper Mountain, Winter Park, Aspen and Steamboat, all at an affordable price.” Crystal Ski prices start at £499 per person for seven night packages to Winter Park, based on two people sharing.
