Cycle New York State – at your own pace
New York State has partnered with two of the UK’s leading sports travel companies, Sports Tours International and Wheel2Wheel, to develop a number of packages for cycling enthusiasts.
Sports Tours International will feature world-class cycling races in New York State.
Both the Tour of the Battenkill and Gran Fondo routes are now available for 2014, and will include accommodation, international flights and guaranteed entry into the races.
They offer racers the opportunity to compete with competitors from around the world on a course that runs through some of New York State’s most scenic countryside.
For those looking for a more leisurely cycling holiday, Wheel2Wheel offers recreational cyclists five or six night self-guided cycling packages, providing maps and a suitably easy-paced itinerary through the many small villages, lakes and historic houses that are found in New York State.
In conjunction with the availability of the new packages, New York State has launched a competition offering the winner an all expenses-paid trip to compete in the Gran Fondo race.
