Delta is increasing its frequencies between London Heathrow and the US.

The airline is to add a second flight between Atlanta and Heathrow four days a week and between Detroit and Heathrow three days a week.

The new flights will start from November 1 and be on sale from September 21.

Delta has previously announced the addition of a third daily flight between Heathrow and JFK from September 20.

The airline said the move was part of ongoing efforts to better serve business customers.

The Atlanta flights depart on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and the Detroit flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

The extra services will be operated with a 216-seat Boeing 767 aircraft with 36 seats in BusinessElite and 180 in Economy.
