Dighe takes top slot at Kosmar

Abhi Dighe has been made managing director of Kosmar Villa Holidays, moving up from his previous position as operations director.

He takes over from Kostas Markow who has moved to the new position of accommodation contracting managing director for parent company the XL Leisure Group.

Markou will be based in Greece, responsible for contracting all accommodation in the Eastern Mediterranean. He will remain as a non-executive director of Kosmar.

Dighe has worked at Kosmar for 20 years, the last eight years as operations director. 

The changes were announced by Michael Stoney, chief operating officer of the tour operating division of the XL Leisure Group.
