Emirates upgrades London service to A380s
Emirates has upgraded its five daily flights to London Heathrow to A380s two months earlier than expected.
Emirates originally planned the fifth service to take place from 1st February next year but due to increased passenger demand and recent A380 deliveries, Emirates has been able to bring the all-A380 London Heathrow service forward.
Chris Butler, airline business development director at Heathrow said: "We are pleased to welcome Emirates’ extended A380 fleet, and this aircraft upgrade is in line with Heathrow’s ambition to encourage the use of modern aircraft.
"As the world’s largest airliner, which is cleaner, quieter, and more fuel efficient, the A380s drive greater benefits for our passengers and for the environment."
The A380 offers 14 flat-bed First Class Private Suites on its upper deck with electrically operated doors, a personal mini-bar and its own vanity table and mirror.
If customers want to be connected 24/7, they now have Wi-Fi access on all A380s in the fleet.
In First Class, passengers can freshen up with a mid-flight shower.
