Etihad Holidays launches dedicated Australia brochure
Etihad Holidays has launched a new range of Australian holidays to complement the airline’s start-up of non-stop flights from Abu Dhabi to Sydney from March 26.
With prices starting at just AED 2,960 for a three-night stay in Sydney or seven-day fly drive package, the holidays offer a wide range of pre-bookable options including airport limousine transfers and scenic helicopter flights over Sydney for AED 595 and the range of accommodation varying from 3-star hotels to deluxe self-catering apartments.
Choices availabel for UAE visitors to Australia include city breaks in Sydney and Melbourne, the Hunter Valley, the scenic wilderness of the Blue Mountains and the subtropical beaches and great shopping along Queensland’s Gold Coast. Families can choose fun days out to theme parks including the famous Melbourne Royal Botanical Gardens and the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane.
Nick Wood, general manager of Etihad Holidays, said: “We have carefully built our new programme around the needs of travellers from this region and anticipate a great deal of interest from UAE customers keen to travel in style from Abu Dhabi.”
He added, “Australia is proving an increasingly attractive destination for visitors from the UAE, as we have seen with the advance-bookings for our flights and given the destination’s popularity we recommend that travellers book their holidays well in advance, with discounts available for booking at least 30 days prior to departure.”
Mr Wood added: “Etihad’s commitment is to provide great value holidays and the Australian Holiday brochure caters for all budgets and holiday styles, including added value options where children stay for free. “
“Also, obtaining a visa to Australia from Abu Dhabi has never been easier for UAE nationals, who can apply online for multiple entry visas valid for two years.”
