ExpressJet joins ARC
ExpressJet this month joined ARC as a participating carrier.
ExpressJet intends to initially launch new service from Los Angeles/Ontario, Sacramento, San Diego, Austin, San Antonio and New Orleans.
Destinations include Albuquerque, Spokane, Boise, Tucson, Omaha, Kansas City, Mo., Colorado Springs, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Birmingham, Raleigh/Durham, Louisville, Monterey, Calif., Fresno, Bakersfield, Jacksonville, Fla., El Paso, and Corpus Christi.
The new ExpressJet locations will primarily connect cities currently not served with non-stop service, according to the company.
The new airline is due to begin service to 24 cities by the end of June.
ExpressJet will operate the EMB-145XR and EMB-145LR aircraft types, both with a 50-seat capacity on the new routes.
ExpressJet will offer meal service on some flights and 100 channels of XM satellite radio at every seat, according to the carrier.
Because ExpressJet has elected the General Concurrence method of agent appointment, all ARC-accredited agencies and corporate travel departments are automatically appointed as agents of the carrier unless specifically advised to the contrary by the carrier.
ARC is the premier provider of financial settlement solutions and data and analytical services for the travel industry.
Airlines, travel agencies, corporate travel departments, railroads, and other travel suppliers process more than $77 billion annually through ARC’s settlement system.
