Film star kicked off flight for urinating in cabin
French actor Gerard Depardieu has admitted urinating in the aisle on a CityJet flight from Paris.
The 62-year-old star of Green Card, Jean de Florette and Cyrano de Bergerac was thrown off the flight to Dublin on Tuesday night.
According to reports, Depardieu admitted he had attempted to urinate into a bottle as the flight was taxiing to the runway, but some spilt onto the floor. He said he had apologised to the airline and to staff.
No charges were pressed and Depardieu took the next flight to Dublin, where he is playing Obelix, the sidekick of Asterix, in the latest blockbuster on ancient Gaul.
