Speakers from across the business travel sector have been recruited to address this year’s Guild of Travel Management Companies overseas conference.
The event, which will take place between May 13 and 15 and is themed around “Future Insights”, will see Association of Corporate Travel Executives president Chris Cowley talk, alongside IKEA global travel purchaser Yves Galimidi and David Trunkfield who is a senior travel sector analyst at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Etihad Airways chief executive officer James Hogan and Travelport head of operations and supplier relations Bryan Conway will make keynote speeches.
Up for discussion will be the future role and business models of TMCs, the impact of technology on business travellers, lobbying in the new political landscape and future trends in taxation. There will also be panel discussions on content, rail and aviation.
GTMC chief executive Anne Godfrey said: “This years GTMC Overseas conference promises to be one of the most interesting and insightful conferences for many years.
“We have a host of new faces from within the TMC community presenting, as well as new speakers from outside the sector – add to that the panel debates on the hot topics of the industry, from content to technology and from regulatory to rail, aviation and hotel and you can see that the quality of this years event will truly be second to none”.
