Iriarte joins Travellers Choice Cruise Club
Travellers Choice has appointed Vivian Iriarte to the newly created role of Cruise Club Co-ordinator, taking up her new position on April 2, bringing more than 20 years’ experience to the new role.
Her most recent position was Corporate and Leisure Travel Executive with American Express’ prestige Centurion Travel Services and has also worked as a senior consultant with leading Sydney agency Landmark Travel, where she helped develop and implement direct mail campaigns targeting the cruising market.
Travellers Choice General Manager – Sales and Marketing Lyn Le Provost said,”Vivian holds a Masters Certificate from the International Cruise Council Australasia (ICCA) and brings with her strong relationships with leading cruise lines and GSA operators,” adding, “In addition she has enormous enthusiasm and passion for the product, good negotiating skills and experience in providing cruise training, all of which will help push cruise sales through our national network of retail agents.”
Vivian will be responsible for driving development of the Travellers Choice Cruise Club, launched in November, the club increases Travellers Choice members’ cruise sales by providing a range of services, including:-
** access to exclusive deals not available to any other retail travel group;
** a dedicated website providing invaluable data on ships, destinations and cruise lines;
** first offers on cruise educationals and ship inspections;
** a monthly cruise e-newsletter; and
** posters and flyers promoting quarterly cruise offers.
