Oneworld alliance partners American Airlines and Japan Airlines are extending their code share agreement.

JAL will offer more onward connecting flights in the US by adding its code to 14 domestic routes operated by American at Dallas/Fort Worth.

This takes effect on November 30, the same date JAL starts a four times a week service between Tokyo Narita and Dallas/Fort Worth.

The flights operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and JAL hinted it may expand to a daily service next year.

American Airlines also operates twice-daily flights on the route.

American domestic routes from DFW added to the code share agreement include Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Philadelphia, Tampa, Miami and Nashville.
