Kerzner pulls out of Cuban hotel project

Sunday, 22 Feb, 2006 0

Kerzner International Limited has announced it will no longer be the management company for the Saratoga Hotel project in Havana, Cuba, under the One&Only brand.

The company says its decision was a mutual one between Kerzner International and its former partners in Cuba.

“The destination of Cuba remains of high interest to travelers and it is expected the Saratoga project will fulfill a unique need for luxury accommodations…as the premier hotel in Havana,” the company said in a statement.

Kerzner is an international developer and operator of destination resorts, casinos and luxury hotels.

TravelMole reported previously that the renovated Saratoga Hotel is Cuba’s first five-star facility.
