A  flight of fancy

Come fly with me, lets fly lets fly away……..on Easyjet?! Oh, how things have changed. Flying used to be the pinnacle of romance…….but can you see Old Blue Eyes crooning his heart out in the crush at Stanstead? I think not.

Park Plaza Riverbank London have dreamed up a package for aspiring romantics that includes a decedent picnic supper of oysters, lobster, pink Champagne and strawberries served in the comfort your riverside room. If the oysters don’t get you in the mood (for romance) then the luxury Kiehl’s bath and massage set surely will……. there is Casablanca on DVD and a heart shaped box of Rococo chocolates in case of a full-on romantic emergency!

The following morning you will be collected by an executive car and whisked to the Stapleford Flight Centre where you will board your private propeller plane without a queue or check-in in sight. You will then enjoy a breathtaking flight over London taking in all the major sights. A bottle of Champagne is included, a ring is not. When you come back down to earth the car will return you to the hotel and the afternoon is free for ‘sightseeing’.

Chino Latino with its intoxicating blend of passion and spirit is THE place to be on the river. Luckily for you it is but a lift ride away from your bedroom! The beautifully presented dishes are an innovative fusion of Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese and Japanese cuisines. As night falls and the lights dim, the restaurant takes on a whole new character – sultry, moody and electrifying. Our head chef has created a sensual 7 course ‘Love Menu’ to share. Who ever said ‘romance is dead’? Come fly with me, well fly well fly away……….

Our ‘Romance Package’ costs £1000 for two people and includes:

  • Private sightseeing plane ride over London with executive car transfer from hotel to airport
  • 2 nights accommodation in a superior room with river views
  • Oysters, lobster, strawberries and rosé Champagne picnic supper
  • Kiehl’s Bath and Massage Set
  • Rococo Heart Chocolates
  • Casablanca DVD
  • ‘Love Menu’ Dinner in Chino Latino
  • Smoked Salmon, Scrambled Eggs and Champagne breakfast in bed
  • Late checkout
