Major upgrade of reservation system for Myplanet/Bentours
MyPlanet Australia/Bentours, the Scandinavian and cruise specialist has announced that they are implementing Tourplan, a new reservation system as part of a strategic upgrade of all business processes.
“As a step to improve our service to our travel agents and our direct clients, we have embarked on this process to improve our service levels.” “The booking process will be much quicker, smoother and all our written communication will be easy to understand and follow”, says Greg Arnott, Managing Director of MyPlanet group.
“The changes are major and the bulk of the implementation will be done between 3 and 16th of September.”
“This will potentially cause delays to response times.”
“Urgent enquires will be attended immediately and new bookings will be processed as time permits.”
MyPlanet/Bentours offices will be closed on the 6th due to the implementation and the 7th of September, Public Holiday due to the APEC summit in Sydney.
“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and we ask for patience during this busy period.”
“The end result will be beneficial as its will improve dramatically our service levels”, said Arnott.
