Marriott, Choice Hotels offer specials for two-timers
Hotel summer promotions are rolling out as corporate travel slows and properties reach for the leisure market.
In addition to specials at individual properties, both Marriott and Choice Hotels are offering promotions for travelers who stay twice during the summer.
Marriott’s Unexpected Bonus promotion offers one free night for every two paid stays to Marriott Rewards frequent traveler program members through September 2, up to two free nights. Membership in the Rewards program is free. Guests must pre-register for the promotion.
Choice Privileges, meanwhile, is repeating its Two Stays Pays promotion from last summer. Members who stay twice by August 21 will receive enough bonus points to get a $50 gift card redeemable at participating restaurants, retail stores, or gas stations.
Participating Choice Hotels brands are Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Sleep Inn, Clarion, and Cambria Suites, as well as Ascend Hotel Collection member hotels. Trips with MainStay Suites, Suburban Extended Stay Hotel, Econo Lodge, and Rodeway Inn brand hotels are also eligible, provided each trip is a minimum of two consecutive nights.
There’s no limit to the number of $50 gift cards Choice Privileges members can earn during this promotion. Cards must be redeemed by November 1.
