New APT river ship to sail Douro cruises
APT has reported a surge in demand for Douro cruises as it prepares for the launch of its newbuild the MS Estrela.
The ship will sail Douro cruises from summer 2024.
APT & Travelmarvel have released new images of MS Estrela on APT Agent Club, giving travel agents a sneak peek of what to expect on the new vessel.
MS Estrela features 60 cabins, the largest swimming pool of any ship on the Douro River, a putting green, spa and fitness centre.
There are multiple leisure areas, bars, restaurants, and al fresco dining.
Travelmarvel’s eight-day Douro Discovery cruise showcases stunning scenery, dining at a local quinta, a traditional Portuguese winery, and learning all about the growing traditions of port.
They will also experience Flamenco dancing and touring the region’s baroque architecture
The Douro Discovery cruise costs from £1,995 per person.
It includes return flights, 20 meals, complimentary soft drink, land excursions, transfers, port charges, and gratuities are included and more.
