Travelers exploring New York City have a new AI-powered friend to help them negotiate the five boroughs.

New York City Tourism + Conventions just unveiled ‘Libby’ an AI chat tool that can assist travelers in 60 languages.

It can provide quick answers to a wide range of travel-related personalized queries about the city.

Julie Coker, president and CEO of New York City Tourism + Conventions said:  “We’re proud to offer this free, innovative tool to empower global visitors and discover experiences across all five boroughs.”

Libby will also be showcased on thousands of LinkNYC screens at transit stops.

Libby uses the GuideGeek AI tech from Matador Network.
