Perth Arena names the day
The opening date of the Perth Arena in Western Australia has been confirmed as November 10.
Practical completion will occur in August with a three-month commissioning period, including system testing, furnishing and training with a series of test events to follow.
The 14,800-seat venue is a multipurpose facility equipped for everything from concerts to Hopman Cup tennis.
The much-delayed new facility will have an open-and-shut roof which can close in about seven minutes
AEG Ogden will manage the Perth Arena.
