Phocuswright appoints new president

Travel industry data research firm Phocuswright has named Simon Lehman as new president.
 
Lehmann will build on Phocuswright’s research and events and expand its global reach.
 
He takes over as president effective from November 1.
 
"Simon is widely respected for his vision and accomplishments.  We are confident that he will continue to move our business forward with his fresh approach and bold ideas," said Lorraine Sileo, senior vice president, research, Phocuswright.
 
Lehmann was previously CEO of Biketec AG and Interhome AG and also held executive positions with Swissport and Hotelplan Group.
 
He also served as a board member of Inntopia, HomeAway and Travel.ch.
 
"I am looking forward to working with a great team of industry experts to deliver high quality conferences and research to our customers and partners," Lehmann said.
