Porter Airlines joins TSA Precheck

Toronto based carrier Porter Airlines is the latest to join the TSA’s PreCheck expedited screening program.

PreCheck registered fliers get to use dedicated screening lanes where they can keep on shoes and belts and may leave laptops and liquids in carry-on bags.

"TSA PreCheck allows our passengers to have an even quicker airport experience when departing from the US. This is especially true when matched with the convenient arrival process found at our home airport, Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport," said Robert Deluce, Porter’s president and CEO.

Porter’s Canadian customers enrolled in NEXUS are eligible for PreCheck fast track screening at US airports.

According to recent data 93% of PreCheck passengers waited no more than five minutes to clear security screening.

Customers provide their Known Traveller Number when making flight reservations and can be entered in a VIPorter frequent flyer profile where it will be stored for future reservations.

Porter flies to Newark, Chicago Midway, Boston and Washington Dulles, along with seasonal services to Myrtle Beach, Orlando-Melbourne and Burlington, Vermont.
