Rosewood opening third resort in California
Rosewood Hotels & Resorts will open its third California property in 2018, following an agreement with real estate developer Caruso to manage Rosewood Miramar Beach Montecito.
The resort will be located on the site of the old Miramar Beach Hotel, about one hour north of downtown Los Angeles.
The one acre development will feature 122 guestrooms and 48 suites, a beachfront bar and restaurant, two swimming pools, a spa and fitness center, beach club and meeting space.
"Rosewood Miramar Beach Montecito will be a perfect illustration of Rosewood’s philosophy of A Sense of Place," says Sonia Cheng, Rosewood Hotels CEO
"The resort will combine a relaxed California atmosphere with a picturesque, beachfront setting. We look forward to working closely with Caruso Affiliated, a best-in-class developer, to bring this long-awaited resort to life."
Rosewood says it plans to expand its portfolio to 50 hotels within the next five years.
