Rosewood signs new Hangzhou hotel
Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is adding to its China portfolio after signing Rosewood Hangzhou which is set to open in 2025.
Located in Wangjiang New City, the new build luxury hotel will occupy a prime location within a mixed-use project set to revamp the city skyline.
Sonia Cheng, CEO of Rosewood Hotel Group said: "Hangzhou is a dynamic city, making it well suited for both leisure and business travellers. Rosewood is excited to be a part of the city’s continued growth."
The Wangjiang New City development will include a K11 Art Mall, office buildings and workspaces, luxury residences and cultural attractions, alongside Rosewood Hangzhou.
The hotel spans 16 storeys with 140 keys, including 17 suites, an executive lounge, multiple dining outlets, fitness centre, indoor pool and hydrotherapy areas.
Meeting and event spaces measure 1,100 square metres including a ballroom.
The hotel joins nine existing properties in Asia, including Rosewood Beijing, Rosewood Guangzhou and Rosewood Hong Kong.
Rosewood also has eight more properties in development across the region, such as Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hoi An, Vietnam.
