Ryanair launches dozens of new Morocco flights
Ryanair has just unveiled its biggest ever summer schedule to Morocco.
It includes 35 new routes comprising 11 Moroccan domestic routes.
It is part of an estimated $1.4 billion investment in Morocco.
It adds up to capacity for five million passengers to/from, and now within Morocco.
It announced its fourth Moroccan base, with two new aircraft in Tangier.
This includes Ryanair’s first flights to Beni-Mellal and Errachidia airports.
Ryanair says the investment in Morocco will support over 500 direct jobs for pilots, cabin crew and engineers.
The Morocco flight schedule will be served by 14 based aircraft in Marrakesh, Fez, Agadir and Tangier.
It adds up to a 33% capacity increase for summer 2024.
Ryanair DAC’s CEO, Eddie Wilson, said: “This is a historic day for the partnership between Ryanair and the Kingdom of Morocco.”
“This record Morocco flight schedule will boost tourism and connectivity within the Kingdom. This will take Ryanair’s total investment in the Kingdom to over US$1.4 billion.”
